Private Yoga

I specialize in Restorative and Yin styles of yoga, which gently release, soften, and rejuvenate areas of chronically held tension in the body. Yin and Restorative Yoga share similarities as poses are held for a longer duration than other forms of yoga, however, there is variation in total length of time for each pose depending on individual needs and preferences.

 

While Yin Yoga tends to focus on active stretch sensations that target connective tissues, Restorative Yoga focuses on the use of props to completely support the harmonization of body, mind and soul, promoting balance within the nervous system.​​​

Private Sessions allow clients to fully attend to their natural capacity to heal, while the teacher offers guided assistance with prop arrangement, timing, theming and transitions for maximum safety and comfort. ​
